The business gossip behind what we drink.
BevyBrief covers the launches, flops, pivots and detours the whole industry is whispering about. And if you're building a beverage brand, I'd love to hear about it.

They didn't launch a soda. They launched a tequila brand with a cheaper entry point.
Watch the shelf placement: it's sitting with RTDs, not spirits.
What's BevyBrief?
Somewhere between a trade publication and that coworker who always knows first.
Every week I break down what's actually going on behind the brands on your shelf. Who just sold (and for how much), which flavor is about to disappear, and why yet another celebrity thinks they need their brand (and which ones will work). It's brutally honest, occasionally petty, and always grounded in how this industry really works.
Two doors of the same cooler. One door talks about the industry. The other one is where I talk shop with the people building it.
Media & Press
For brands, PR teams, podcasts and publications that want the insider read.
Expert commentary
Quotes, interviews, podcast guest spots and panels on beverage trends, launches and M&A. Need someone who'll say the quiet part on the record? Hi.
Brand features & partnerships
Brand breakdowns, launch coverage and content collabs built for an audience of marketers, founders and people who read ingredient labels for fun.
Trade show & event coverage
Expo West, NACS, Bar Convent and beyond: what launched, what flopped at the booth, what everyone talked about at the after-party.
If you're small, scrappy and making something good, you don't need a budget to land on my radar, shoot a note and send some product! The paid partnerships are always labeled, and my opinions stay mine either way.
Small brands welcome
Small brand? Pull up a chair.
I have a soft spot for the underdogs: the two-founder brand packing pallets on a Saturday, the weird flavor that turns out to be genius. Watching small brands get big is my favorite part of covering this industry. Features, shoutouts, honest feedback and the occasional pep talk.
You don't need an agency, a PR budget or a fancy deck to get on BevyBrief. A good product and a story worth telling will do.
Small is a feature here.
Send me your stuff
My fridge is a content studio.
Every product that lands here is a contender for a review, a taste test, a Monday BevyBrief feature or a full breakdown reel. Launching something? Rebranding? Sitting on a flavor you're nervous about? Send it over.

Sending product gets you an honest review. That's way more useful than a nice one.
My favorite conversations happen off the feed.
I'm a strategy nerd at heart. Give me a founder with a new can and a big question about pricing, positioning or which retailer to chase first, and I'll happily lose an evening. After 15 years around this industry, I've seen a lot of launches go right and plenty go sideways, and I love swapping notes on both.
So if you're building a beverage brand, switching into the industry or just obsessed with what's in your glass, reach out. Bring your deck, your weird flavor idea or your theory about why that brand really got delisted. I'll bring opinions.
Pull up a stool if you're...
About
Who's behind BevyBrief?
Someone who's spent 15 years (and counting) inside the beverage industry, across brand marketing, sales strategy and innovation. I've sat in the meetings where flavors get killed, price points get fought over and launch dates quietly slip.
BevyBrief is my after-hours passion project: where I say what everyone says after the meeting. It started as running commentary and turned into a place where founders, marketers and fellow beverage nerds come for the real story.
Questions people ask me in the DMs
Can I send you product?
Please do. Pick "Send product" on the form below and I'll reply with shipping details.
Do I need a budget to get featured?
Nope. Features are honest and most are free. Small is a feature here.
Can I pay you to say nice things about my brand?
You can pay me to cover your brand. You can't pay me to like it. Sponsored content is always labeled, and the honesty is the whole reason it works.
If I send product, will you roast it?
Only if it deserves it. Honest doesn't mean mean, and good brands get the love they've earned.
What kinds of brands do you cover?
Spirits, RTDs, beer, non-alc, functional, coffee, energy. If it comes in a can, bottle or pouch, I probably have opinions.
I'm building a brand. Can I pick your brain?
That's my favorite kind of DM. Use the form and pick "Talk shop."
I have a tip. Can I stay anonymous?
Always. Sources are protected. Send it to info@bevybrief.com
